We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone number, payment method) and information generated through your use of the platform (ride history, location during trips, ratings).
Your information is used to facilitate bookings, process payments, send ride status updates, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Payment information is processed by Stripe and is never stored on Mōtto servers. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the handling of your card data.
Driver location is collected during active rides to power real-time tracking. Client pickup and dropoff addresses are stored with your booking record. We do not track your location outside of active ride sessions.
We share necessary booking details with your assigned operator and driver. We do not share your personal data — including your mobile phone number — with advertisers, marketers, or unaffiliated third parties.
When you provide your phone number during registration, you consent to receive transactional SMS notifications from Mōtto about your ride bookings (confirmations, driver status updates, and ride completion). These are not marketing messages.
Message frequency: You will receive SMS only when there is activity on your booking. Typically 2–6 messages per ride.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply START to resubscribe.

Booking and account data is retained for a minimum of 7 years for financial record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
